If you need a new pole building in Kentucky or a post frame garage in Kentucky, you don’t have to wait until Spring to get started. We think winter is a good time to build. Although certain contractors prefer not to work outside during the winter months, there is no reason to put off building your new barn if you need it now.

#1 –Working Outdoors is Better When the Weather Cooperates

Late Spring and early Summer are wonderful times to work outside. The weather is nice, and there are fewer obstacles to getting work done quickly. Nonetheless, our crews work all year round. We can’t stop working every time it rains a little or a cold front blows in. We are committed to putting in a solid day’s work every chance we have. If you need a new building now, there is no need to wait until March or April. Give us a call today.

#2 – Be Ready for Spring

If you own a farm or another agricultural business, you know Spring is a busy time. Why not start the season with a new building? A new building can increase your production capacity and decrease the time you spend repairing an older building.

#3 – You Probably Have More Time

Most farms and trades slow down during the winter months. If that describes your situation, you probably have more time to oversee the construction of your new post-frame building or barn. Take advantage of that time and build your new barn right away.

#4 – Post-Frame Construction Methods are Less Affected by Winter Temperatures

Low temperatures can make pouring a large concrete slab difficult or impossible. Fortunately, post-frame buildings and pole barns don’t rely on large concrete foundations. Instead, pole buildings are supported by a network of vertical posts set into holes about 3-4 feet deep (we set posts 42 inches deep). Although these posts are set in concrete, they use much less concrete and therefore don’t suffer the same issues during the winter.
