Using a Custom Pole Barn as a Workout Center

Many of us don’t enjoy working out.  Or if we do like working out, we don’t particularly like driving to the gym just wait behind a crowd of people just to get on a treadmill or exercise bike.

Stationary Equipment 

No workout center would be complete without a treadmill, elliptical, weight benches, or weight machines.  Having items like a treadmill and elliptical can help you get in your daily walk or run no matter what the weather is like.  These are typically very popular machines at the gym as well, so with your own West Virginia custom pole barn, you won’t have to worry about lines in your own gym.   

Basketball Hoop 

You will be the envy of your friends and especially their kids with an indoor basketball hoop.  Playing basketball is a lot of fun outside as long as it’s not too hot, too cold, or too windy.  You won’t have to worry about the elements with a basketball hoop in your West Virginia custom pole barn. 

Make sure you have plans to have proper flooring installed for your basketball court so that you get consistent bounces when dribbling.  Also, in the design process, make sure you have adequate height for your facility so that your shots don’t hit the ceiling of your West Virginia pole building.  The standard height is 10 feet for basketball goals, but you’ll need several more feet above that to account for high-arcing shots. 

Turf Flooring
